Tinago Falls (Hidden Falls)

Tinago Falls from the word itself "Hidden Falls that was located in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. Before going to the falls you have to register first for the environmental fee. There are 400 steps going down the falls where you can hear the chirp of different birds, the flowing water and the water falling from the top of the mountain. Indeed, you are entering a rain forest. You cannot easily see the whole picture of the falls until on the lat step going down. Now I know why it is called Tinago Falls. Upon reaching the last step it wow us. All we want to do is dip on the water. Our guide said we can swim on the place but unfortunately we did not bring extra clothes going down because we do not expect to get wet for it is our last day. But with with the encouraging sound of the water we decided to take a dip. So we went up where our car was parked and change our clothes. The real challenge here is

Divine Mercy Shrine

A 9 hectares solemn and peaceful place is located at El Salvador Misamis, Oriental Philippines that was managed by Divine Mercy Foundation. It features Divine Mercy Christ Statue that stands 50 feet tall, a tract of land overlooking Macajalar Bay on the southern Island of Mindanao. The Shrine was opened last 2008 that serves as pilgrimage for the Divine Mercy Devotees. Upon entering the shrine you will noticed that there are long skirts at the entrance. For women, jeans, shorts and shorts skirts are not allowed inside so you have to wear one which serves as respect to the place. If you are on a revealing clothes such as sleeveless, tube, etc. these are also not allowed. Donations for the borrowed long skirt is optional but it is better if you donate because it is used for the improvement of the place. Fortune Island

Fortune Island is located at Nasugbu Batangas. A week before our travel I already contacted Mang Dante for the boat reservation for 14 persons that will cost us Php 5,000 with cooking utensils, drinking water and water use for washing. Unfortunately,one day before our travel four backed out and we are only ten left. We meet at DLTB bus terminal located at Taft Ave, Pasay, Metro Manila.From there we ride a bus going to Nasugbu Batangas.If it is your first time, just tell to the conductor that you are going to Fortune Island. But since the person we contacted told us that there is someone waiting for us in Jollibee of Nasugbu wich is near the Waltermart Nasugbu, I tell to the conductor to drop us there. At Nasugbu Jollibee restaurant someone is waiting for us there,one of the employees of Mang Dante I think. We meet her there and list down our names for the registration.
