Misty Lodge and Cafe

With the cold weather, rich culture and breath taking scenery, this place also offers great food. During our stay in Sagada, Misty Lodge and Cafe is our favorite place to eat. The place was warm and cozy. They offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The cafe offers steaks, pizza, burgers and  the typical breakfast like tapsilog. They also offers different flavors of tea, their signature Sagada coffee, hot chocolate, ice tea, beer, fruit juice and wine. all meals in a reasonable price. This is the food that I usually ordered. Bacon and egg with rice with blueberry tea. :)

That place called SAGADA

That thing called tadhana or I should say "That thing called destiny" Sagada is located at northern Luzon a town in Cordillera mountains, Philippines. It was known with its cold weather, cave, falls and the rich culture that retains until now. We traveled Sagada with the help of Arrow travel and tours. We paid Php 3,000 each for the trip with Baguio and Banaue side trip. Our driver kuya Alfred who is very friendly serves as our driver and tour guide at the same time. First we stop at Baguio and witness the Panagbenga festival. Then, from Baguio we traveled to Sagada passing by the  Halsema Highway  (also known as the  Benguet-Mountain Province Road ,  Baguio-Bontoc Road  or  Mountain Trail) that   stretches from the city limit of Baguio  to the municipality of Bontoc-Mountain Province. I ts highest point at 7,400 ft above sea level in the municipality of Atok which  is the highest altitude highway in the Philippines. Places Must See in Sagada Sumaguing Cave Also

Climbing a mountain is a real challenge especially to those who are beginners like me. Mount Pamitinan a 426 meters above sea level is a beginners course located at Wawa Rodriguez Rizal. A day before our hike I already contacted Kuya Nok-Nok as our tour guide and also rent a car to go directly to Wawa Rodriguez Rizal since we are all 10 in a group. Arriving at WAWA DENR Office for the registration for those who will climb the mountain you have to write your name, age and signature  and must sign a waiver indicating that you are capable and physically fit in climbing the mountain. After that you have to pay Php 50 each as environmental fee and if it happens that you have a car you have to pay for the parking fee cost Php 30.  Then, you have to go to barangay hall where you have to list down your names for them to monitor who are climbing and how many person that the tour guide is guiding. A donation box is beside at the registration area and its up to you if yo
