Yummy Topps Balanga Bataan

Image
In front of the Yummy Topps      Yummy topps restaurant  was located in front of Iglesia ni Cristo in Balanga Bataan. As I have seen, the place was an old house converted into a restaurant. The ambiance inside was cozy and the staff are accommodating. The interior of the restaurant was unique its just like an old restaurant because of the old tables and chairs with  a modern twist. The price of their food is not that expensive. I ordered sisig with rice and juice that cost me for only Php89.00. The food was served in a small pot and the taste was just right for me and can surpass my hungry stomach.;)  Here are some pictures of the place:           Sisig-the food I ordered

Mt. Samat Bataan

Image
Mount Samat was famous because of its big cross that stands at the top of it. It was located at Pilar Bataan. The cross is about 92 meters tall from the base and was dedicated to the fallen Filipinos and Americans during the world war II.   From the foot of Mt. Samat we decided to hire a tricycle going to the cross since we have limited time. But if you opt to walk until the cross it may take you up to two hours. Fare cost us Php 200.00 each two-way. Upon reaching the entrance you have to pay an entrance fee that cost Php30.00 each. While paying for the entrance, they told us that going at the top of the cross was prohibited at that time because the elevator going up is under maintenance. We are saddenned about that news but anyway we still enjoyed the place.     Before you reach the base of the cross you have to walk  around 1 kilometer going up. If you don't want to walk you can ask the tricycle driver to drop you at the base of the cross for there

Kanawan Bridge Morong Bataan

Image
Kanawan bridge is a small bridge that will lead you to an Aeta village. Motorcycles can pass the bridge.   From Mt. Samat we ride a bus going to Morong that cost us Php 55.00 each. Drop off point is at the last stop of the bus bound to Morong. Then ride a tricycle going to Kanawan bridge that cost us Php 60.00 each two-way.    The river was clear and the view was amazing. The scary part is when a motorcycle passes by at the bridge while you are taking pictures at the place. Better hold on tight.;) We didn't manage to go to the Aeta village because its nearly dark and we have to catch the last trip of the bus going to Olongapo. Surely that there is no shorcuts to any place worth going.😊

One day trip to Bataan

Image
The War Memorial Cross    Bataan located at Central Luzon that was known with its historical places because it is where the infamous death march happens during World War II known as Bataan Death March.  It was already eleven o'clock in the morning when we reached the terminal of Balanga Bataan via Bataan Transit from Cubao Terminal. Fare costs us Php 200.00 per person. Bataan Transit Terminal in Manila was located at the Five star terminal in Cubao. Since it was nearly lunch time we decided to eat first before roaming around the place. From Bataan  terminal we walk going right and found a restaurant called Yummy Topps. As we entered the restaurant we didn't expect the cozy ambience inside because if you will look from the outside it was an old house that was  converted into restaurant. Yummy topps was located right in front of Iglesia ni Cristo. For more experience at Yummy Tops you may click  here . After we ate our lunch we asked the one of the crew
