Isdaan Floating Restaurant

Isdaan floating restaurant have two branches one in Gerona Tarlac and the other in Calauan Laguna. We went at Calauan Laguna branch since its nearer to Manila.
From Buendia to Calauan Laguna it takes us around 2 hours. We ride a Jac liner bus going to Sta Cruz Laguna. You can also ride to Jam liner, Greenstar or DLTB bus that is bound to Sta Cruz. Just tell the conductor to drop you at Isdaan.

While on our way, it rained but as we get nearer to our destination the sun is up and we are glad about it.
At the Isdaan floating restaurant, we are welcome by the big Buddha statue and we are so excited to take pictures on the place and also to taste their food.
Nipa huts
One of the service crew welcome us with a menu in her hand. She accompanied us to a Nipa hut where we will eat our food and gave the menu to us. She also instructed us to press the button which is located at the side of the nipa hut if we already have our orders or if we have anything we need. After discussing what food we will eat one of my friends press the button. After a minute kuya Paulo who accommodate us get our orders. By the way we ordered Seafood kare-kare a recommended one, mixed boat teppanyaki, bagong sinaing or newly cook rice and a pitcher of ice tea. While waiting for our orders we roamed around the place and took some more pictures.

Anyway the place is not only a restaurant but also a park for the family and friends. They also offers activities like boat riding which is for free but you have to give a 20 pesos tip for the bangkero. If you have kids, they also offers free biking for ages 9 years old and below. Just make sure to watch out for them. There are also mascots roaming around the area. There's Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Taksyapo is an old kapampangan word meaning bwisit.
For the plates, mugs or even television that you will be throwing on the wall, you have to pay for it with their corresponding prices. For plates 16 pesos, plain mugs 20 pesos, colorful mugs 28 pesos and for the television for 2000 pesos.

Back to our nipa hut, they served our food after 15 minutes and kuya Paulo was still their accommodating us. About their food I must say it was a bit pricey but not that bad. Their seafood kare-kare is recommended even if the serving is only good for 3 persons. Their teppanyaki which is serve in a miniature boat is something you have to try also.

Above is the mixed boat Teppanyaki, Left to right: Seafood Kare-kare, Bagong Sinaing, Pitcher Ice Tea
While eating our food musekeros comes in our place to serenade us with the song Everything by Michael Buble and One call away by Charlie Puth and you can even request a song. Again you have to pay 20 pesos for the tip.

After we ate our food we roamed around again and we need to refresh so we looked for the comfort room which is located at the back of the stage. Their comfort rooms are clean and well maintained.

Signage about honesty, tips, reminders, and contact numbers of the management are posted all over the place to guide customers. For honesty they are reminding their customers that if there are any cheating, pocketing, padding and also disrespectful employees they can contact the numbers  of the management indicated on the signs. When they will give your bill the bill-outer must provide the receipt together with a calculator and must clearly explained what are the figures appeared on the adding machine tape. For the tips they advise their customers to give 20 pesos tip to bangkero or musikero. For the reminders, they remind their customers to do not leave their valuables to the kubo (nipa hut) or anywhere within the premises for they are not liable for any loss or damage to the property.
