The Truth Behind Travelling Solo

Image
Travelling Solo is about being yourself. You can do the things you wanted to do at your own time. You can visit the places you want to visit anytime you want. Travelling Solo is about finding your inner self and all about clearing your minds and putting away stress in your body. There are lots of advantages in travelling solo. But what are the disadvantages in travelling solo? 1. Single - I am not saying that if you travel solo you are single. There are also married people who choose to travel solo. What am I saying here is that there's no one you can't count on but you yourself. Sometimes travelling solo is a little bit lonely. There are times that you want someone to talk to but there is no one to talk to. When you are lost there are times that you don't know what to do because you don't know the place and the people. There are also times that all you want is go home but you cannot. Well, this may happen if you are not fully prepared physically and mentally. T

San Rafael River Adventure

Image
A place where you can experience a full blast of adventure. It is also good place for celebrating events like company outings, weddings and also a good place if you and your family just want to relax and be with nature. If you are looking for a quick getaway near Manila you may consider this for it is around 2 hours drive.  What I like about San Rafael River Adventure is that you are very close to nature and its uniqueness is that you can experience water activities at the river which is done mostly at the beach. These water activities includes kayak, paddle board, jet ski, boating, fishing aboard the kubo raft, wake boarding, banana boat, floating slide and cruise at the river. Other activities includes horseback riding, ATV or swim at their floating pool or infinity pool. Their floating bridge is a must try where you can challenge your friends or family to cross that bridge. With focus, balance and determination I did pass the floating bridge without f

How to Travel on a Budget

Image
I was travelling with my full time job and its a struggle because you need enough money and time. For you to save money during your travels you have to travel on a budget. Here are some pointers; If you want to visit a place and you need a plane, follow the airlines that offers the place you want to visit and subscribe in their website and like or follow their social media sites to keep you updated. Most of the time they promote their discounts and promos to their subscriber first. After that, watch out for their sale and book on that day because you can get huge discounts around 20% up to 75% off. But you just need to be patient because sometimes its hard to connect or book on their website. Patience is a virtue on this part. If the place you will visit is by land, ride on a public transportation and as much as possible don't hire a private car. Search for the public transport available to the place that you are going to and if you got lost you don't have t

A Quick Tour in Guimaras

Image
I was travelling the entire Western Visayas and it will not be complete without the island of Guimaras. This island is just 15 minutes boat ride from Iloilo port going to Jordan Wharf.  The fare will cost you for only 14 pesos. Going here, I don't have any contacts because as I have read on other blogs there are many tricycle for rent that offers you tour packages right after you reach Jordan Wharf. I got mine for only 600 pesos and you will visit the smallest plaza, Ore Verde mango farm, San Lorenzo Wind farm and Playa de paraiso. The tricycle driver as the same time my tour guide is very informative. I didn't visit the other tourist spots in Guimaras because of thight budget and limited time.   Smallest Plaza - This remain as the smallest plaza in the Philippines that was once earned a title as the smallest plaza in the world in the Guinness Book of Record.   Ore Verde Mango Farm - A 240 hectare farm where you can see the Guimaras famous mango u
