What to do in Boracay for 1 day

Image
Boracay has many activities to offer especially on water activities. But what you can do if you have a limited time? If you are heading to Boracay better to book your flight in the morning the earlier the better. Ask the hotel, hostel or inn that you are staying if it is ok for them for you to check-in early because most hotel or hostel check-in time is in the afternoon around 1-2pm. Then after check-in better to book your activities that day or ahead of time. For island hopping if you are a joiner, the start is at 10:00am. After your island hopping   that will be 4-5 hours, in the afternoon you can opt for other activities. Then at sunset you can walk on the shore or stay on one place and watch the sunset. At night you will experience night life. Boracay is very alive at night. You can drink or have a food trip depends on what you want. You can stay all night at the beach. Below is the itinerary that you can do in Boaracy for 1 day. 8:00 am - Check-in time (ask...

They said that travelling solo is sad and expensive because there's no one you can talk to and you have to shoulder all the expenses. But for me travelling solo is about finding your inner soul, it is about facing your fear that keeps you stronger. Travelling solo cannot be expensive if you will not get private tours. So if you are planning to travel solo for the first time, you have to consider these things: S earch - before going to the place that you are planning to go to research first about that place. How is the mode of transportation or where will you stay during your visit. Is the place safe for solo travellers? Where can you buy cheap food and the tourist spots that you may consider in your itinerary. You have to get to know about that place by reading reviews by the traveller that have been there, reading the history of the place and also about the culture of people living there. With the power of internet searching about those things is now easy. I...

Tibiao Antique- Haven for relaxation

Image
Antique is located at the western part of Visayas. The kawa hot bath is famous in this place located at Barangay Importante Tibiao Antique.    I stayed at Kayak inn for 1 night and paid 950 pesos which includes 500 pesos for the accommodation, 200 pesos for food and 250 for Kawa hot bath. There are also other activities including kayaking, tubing, and trekking. I tried the trek to Bugtong falls you just need to pay 150 pesos for the tour guide. It was 7 falls but 3 falls are only accesible to tourists. You can reach the 7 falls if you are a pro climber. After trekking I go back to Kayak inn to experience the kawa hot bath. While waiting for my hot bath I watched on how they prepare. Here' a short video. After my relaxing kawa hot bath I just enjoyed the moment. Since my mobile phone don't have signal I just watched the river flowing while the sun sets. I've never felt alone during my stay here because the sound of flowing river welcom...
