Anawangin Cove, Zambales
Anawangin is one of the best place to relax and to get away from the busy streets ofMetro. Going here from Cubao Terminal (Victory Liner) you have to ride a bus going to Iba Zambales and tell to the conductor that your destination is at Anawangin Cove which ilocated at Pundaquit San Antonio Zambales. The bus drop us at San Antonio Public Market which is just in front of 7eleven. From the town you will have to ride a tricyle going to
Pundaquit that cost us Php50 each. The Tricycle driver which is the friend of the boatman we already contacted accompanied us first in the market to buy food then after that he drop us to the house of the boatman.
Kuya JR (the boatman) gave us an all in package that cost Php 500 each. It includes the boat transfers, two tent, cooking tools, charcoal("uling"), Cooler, water, ice, and entrance fee.
For day tour entrance fee is 50 pesos and 100 pesos for overnight.
Upon going to the cove, the waves are already high because of the storm coming but it was fun even though it was a little bit scary.
Anawangin Cove Shoreline
We choose to camp at this spot which is in between of the beach and the river.
Tourist are advised not to litter their waste to maintain the cleanliness of the place and also advised to secure their important personal belongings. By the way there is no signal of any network here.
Tourist who planned to have an overnight stay can also set up their tents here.
We enjoyed so much the scenery, the beach, the silence at night where you can hear the sound of the waves, crickets, frogs and the wind at once. It was very relaxing. I must say that I will come here again into this beautiful and peaceful place ANAWANGIN COVE, ZAMBALES
