Tinago Falls (Hidden Falls)

Tinago Falls from the word itself "Hidden Falls that was located in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.

Before going to the falls you have to register first for the environmental fee.

There are 400 steps going down the falls where you can hear the chirp of different birds, the flowing water and the water falling from the top of the mountain. Indeed, you are entering a rain forest.

You cannot easily see the whole picture of the falls until on the lat step going down. Now I know why it is called Tinago Falls.

Upon reaching the last step it wow us. All we want to do is dip on the water. Our guide said we can swim on the place but unfortunately we did not bring extra clothes going down because we do not expect to get wet for it is our last day. But with with the encouraging sound of the water we decided to take a dip. So we went up where our car was parked and change our clothes. The real challenge here is going up in 400 steps. It is  okay  with us, after all we are so much excited to take a dip on the falls. We tried their bamboo rafting going to the falls but you have to pay for 15  pesos and if you are not a good swimmer you can rent a life vest for 25 pesos.

We also tried the rock climbing where the water flows. Our tour guide do the cliff diving. Here is the video.

It was a new experience to me and I do enjoyed a lot and have so much fun! Surely I will visit Tinago falls again.
